Tēnā tātou e te whānau,

Ko Jarrod Waetford tōku ingoa. My father is Wharepouri Eugene Waetford, and his parents were Waiwera Ngawaka and Eru Pohe Waetford. My tupuna whaea Waiwera’s parents were Nupere Ngawaka and Rihipaea Davies My koroua’s mother was Te Reokaha Palmer so Aotea whakapapa runs deep within me.

I am a kaiako in a number of primary schools teaching te reo māori and kapahaka. I have been an educator for nearly 25 years and look forward to supporting Kawa Marae and to be of service to my tini whanaunga.
